Filtration and cooling plants for lubricating fluids used in cable
production.
The paper
describes automated filtration and cooling plants for
lubricating fluids used in copper and aluminium wire drawing.
All the
plants are designed and manufactured by OOO “Communication Systems and Lines”.
The
filtration and cooling plants have baths with 0.7 to 5.5 m3 capacity,
fluid transfer volume from 100 to 2500 l/min, filtration area from 0.4 to 2.5 m2,
with installed electric equipment capacity of 2.6 to 40 kW/h.
The
diagrams and description of the latest model of filtration and cooling plant
for Kubritac oil used in aluminium wire drawing are given.

Effective galvanic wire plating
The paper presents galvanic wire plating lines equipped with NIEHOFF-Steuler
made equipment (WRT-
technology).
WRT 400 lines are designed for tin, nickel and silver
coating of wire. Double-layer coating, for example, nickel and then tin coating
can be applied on special galvanic wire plating lines.
Some
specific features of WRT galvanic wire plating lines are described.

The advantages of multiwire drawing

is devoted to the issues of production and operation of drawing dies made of
natural and synthetic materials.

polycrystalline diamond (PCD) are given; the technology of their production is
described.
Attention is
drawn to various aspects of drawing die tool operation, repair, reconditioning
and reuse. A short presentation of a number of semi-automatic and automatic
machines for grinding, polishing and reconditioning of dies of various

safety. “Sevkabel” started the production of flame retardant NYM cables and ÑÈÏ-4 wires
The
“Sevkabel” plant, affiliate of “Sevkabel-Holding”, started the production of flame
retardant NYM power cables and ÑÈÏ-4 wires. The NYMíã-LS 0.66 kV AC cable meets the flame retardance requirement for bundle
cable laying. The copper conductor cable insulation and sheath are made of flame
retardant, low smoke and gas emitting PVC compound. The inner extruded filling
separating the conductor insulation from the sheath is made of high oxygen
index rubber.
The ÑÈÏñí-4 - (ÒÓ 3553-033-05755714–2007) self-supporting flame
retardant in single laying wire has no neutral conductor and consists of twisted
insulated aluminium conductors of equal cross-section. On the customer's
request the ÑÈÏñí-4
wire may be manufactured with longitudinal conductor sealing made of
water-blocking yarn (ÑÈÏãñí-4 modification), with additional feature of prevention of water
propagation along the wire length.
