He is a renowned scientist in the field of electrical engineering. His work has received wide international recognition. Many of his students have become leading experts and leaders in the cable industry.

Izyaslav Borisovich is also the initiator and one of the founders of the International Association Intercable. For more than 30 years he has been the permanent President of the Association. His experience, knowledge of the cable market and indisputable authority in the community allowed him to bring scientific, technical and business cooperation between cable market players of the former USSR, European countries and the world to a completely new level.
