The 49th General Meeting of the
International Association “Intercable” will take place in Vienna, Austria, from
June 15th till 20th of 2015. Within the framework of the
General Meeting, there will be a Scientific & Technical Symposium on the
following topics:
Session 1: The state of the cable industry across the CIS
countries, EU and China.
Session 2: New innovative materials in cable manufacturing
and their processing technologies.
The program of the General Meeting and the Scientific &
Technical Symposium consists of the following work schedule:
June 15th
(Mon): participants' arrival. Board meeting
(for the IA “Intercable” Board members only)
June 16th (Tue): General Meeting of the IA “Intercable” members (elections to the Association’s management
and control bodies), followed by the Scientific & Technical Symposium
June 17th
(Wed): continuation of the Scientific &
Technical Symposium
June 18th
(Thu): excursion program (technical
tour to Gebauer & Griller)
June 19th (Fri): excursion program continued (technical tour to Borealis AG)
June 20th (Sat): participants’ departure
Participants will be accommodated at “Palais Hansen Kempinski Veinna,” Schottenring
24, 1010 Vienna, tel. +43 1 236 1000, web: www.kempinski.com/en/vienna. The room rates are ˆ260/night/single room and ˆ280/night/double
room. These rates include breakfast and Wi-Fi Internet access.
The above room rates are offered based on an advance
registration with the IA “Intercable” (via a completion of the attached
Registration Form). The accommodation can be paid for by either a credit card
authorization or by a bank transfer according to an invoice from the hotel. Prepayment is required. The registration
fee for every second and subsequent participant is ˆ200/person. Completed Registration
Forms for the participation in the 49th General Meeting of the IA “Intercable”

participation will be confirmed only
after a duly completed Registration Form is received by our office.
Please, note that during
this General Meeting, there will be elections to the Association’s management
and control bodies: the President, Vice President, Board members and members of
the Revision Committee. Therefore, your participation is highly desirable and I
very much hope to see representatives of all of our members in Vienna.
