Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

The 45^th General Meeting of the International Association “Intercable” will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan from 20 to 24 May 2013. Within its framework a scientific and technical symposium on the topic “Telecommunication cables – prospects of future development” will be held.

The Program of the Scientific and Technical Symposium and the General Meeting foresees the following work schedule:

20 May (Monday) – participants' arrival.

21 May (Tuesday) –Scientific and Technical Symposium. Board Meeting (for the IA “Intercable” Board members only).

22 May (Wednesday) – continuation of the Scientific and Technical Symposium. General Meeting of the IA “Intercable” members.

23 May (Thursday) – technical excursion to STP Cable.

24 May (Friday) - participants' departure.

Participants will be accommodated in the hotel “JW Marriott Absheron Baku” (674 Azadliq Square, Baku, AZ-1010) tel. +994 12 499 88 88, web: www.marriott.com). Room rate: single – 207 euro per night, double – 224 euro per room per night. Rooms with a see view: single – 242 euro per night, double – 260 euro per room per night. These rates include 18% VAT, breakfast and wifi. City tax of 1.1 euro per day is not included.

This trip is arranged without assistance of a travel agency. The above room rates are granted provided that a prior registration – before 01 March – is made with the IA “Intercable”. Accommodation can be paid by a credit card (by completing and sending a Credit Card Authorization Form to the hotel) or by bank transfer against an invoice issued by the hotel. Prepayment is obligatory.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that citizens of Europe and the US require a visa to visit Azerbaijan. Visa formalities take much time; therefore, please, do not delay your taking a decision on participation in the General Meeting in Baku.

Registration fee for every second and a following participant will amount to 200 €.
