The next 39th General Meeting of the IA “Intercable” will take place in Limassol, Cyprus in the period from 24 to 28 May 2010. In its framework a symposium will be held: Session 1. “Optical cables: materials, machinery and control devices used in their production”  Session 2. “Nanotechnologies in the cable industry”.

A draft programme for the scientific and technical symposium and the General Meeting provides for the following work schedule:

24 May (Monday) – arrival of participants;

25 May (Tuesday) – scientific and technical symposium;

26 May (Wednesday) – continuation of scientific and technical symposium; General Meeting of the IA «Intercable”;

27 May (Thursday) – business negotiations; cultural and entertainment programme;

28 May  (Friday) – departure.

The traditional football match will take place May 25 in the evening

For accommodation hotel “Amathus Beach Hotel” 5*, Limassol is foreseen (www.amathus-hotels.com/limassol). Hotel room rates include breakfast and are as follows: a single room (without a sea view guarantee) – 157 euro per night; a double room – 228 euro per night (per room); Superior with a sea view – 348 euro per night (in case of double occupancy) and 240 euro (for single occupancy); Junior Suite – 432 euro per night and Junior Suite with a private swimming-pool – 665 euro per night irrespective of occupancy (single or double). Children younger than 16 years old are accommodated in any of the room types for free.

We would like to draw your attention that this trip is arranged with the assistance of a travel agency “Jet”, and above prices are valid only for bookings made through “Jet” and its subsidiaries in Europe (Mayak AG).

Registration fee for every second and further participant will amount to 100 euro.

You are kindly asked to inform us before 10 February if your company will participate in the General Meeting of the IA “Intercable” and the scientific and technical symposium.
