"On the 26th of July, in his 80th year Mr. Piero Nori passed away after a serious illness. Mr. Nori was a consultant of Newtech srl, Italy in the recent years.For many years Mr. Piero Nori worked in the leading Italian companies producing efficient cable making machinery. European cablemakers valued him as a highly professional specialist, a friendly and kind-hearted man.
In his work Mr. Piero Nori always paid a special attention to the Russian cable industry and had a lot of friends in Russia. We are grateful to Mr. Nori for his contribution to the development of the cable industry. Kind memories of him will remain in our hearts.

"The 45th General Meeting of the International Association “Intercable” and a scientific and technical symposium were held in Baku, Azerbaijan in the period from 20 to 24 May 2013.On the part of the Republic of Azerbaijan the event was opened by N. Safarov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, R. Mammadov, President of JSC AZPROMO (Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation) and S. Musayev, Executive Director of Sumgait Technologies Park.
